Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pécs-Baranya signed a Cooperation Agreement on January 31, 2018, with the aim to strengthening business relations and developing mutual cooperation. The agreement was signed by the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, Bosko Vucurevic, and president of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pécs-Baranya, Tamás Síkfői.
After the signing of the agreement on cooperation, the Ambassador Rade Drobac together with the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, Bosko Vucurevic opened a conference devoted to the development of winery and wine growing in the region of Villány. The conference was held as part of a two-day visit of Vojvodina winemakers and tourist workers from Vojvodina to Pécs and the wine region in Villány, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, which led close to 40 Vojvodina winemakers and tourist workers who are engaged in wine tourism. In the Vojvodina delegation there were also professors from the Faculty of Sciences, the Institute of Viticulture at the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Novi Sad.
Following the co-operation agreement and conference, the delegation of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia visited the Temple of Saint Simeon Stolpnik in Pécs where the delegation was met by a priest Milan Eric and the president of the Serbian Association Pécs-Baranya, Petar Mandic.
